A Father’s Unconditional Love brings Healing

It’s rare to see a father in the CURE Malawi ward. Malawi is an extremely patriarchal society. This means that it is the fathers that generally earn the money to provide for their family, and it is the mothers who are responsible for caring and raising a child.

In Pursuit of Excellence Through Partnership

Mark Heydenburg, a biomedical technology trainer with International Aid, visited our CURE hospital in Malawi, fixing equipment, setting up new machines, and training CURE Malawi’s local staff. Mark resides in Grand Rapids, MI, but has traveled all over the world sharing his expertise, including over forty visits to North Korea.
