This Center is truly an answer to the prayers of my patients and their loved ones.”
Cleft lip and palate, one of the most prevalent birth defects globally, affects approximately one in every 700 babies. This condition arises when the tissues responsible for forming the upper lip and palate fail to fuse completely during early fetal development. Clefts can result in difficulties with speech, feeding, hearing, and dental problems, underscoring the importance of early intervention and comprehensive care for affected individuals.

Beit-CURE firmly believes that every child with cleft lip and palate should access appropriate medical care, regardless of socioeconomic status. The hospital has forged partnerships with healthcare providers, organizations, and funding agencies to improve access to affordable and high-quality treatment, surgeries, and other services like speech therapy and nutrition, thereby ensuring that every child who needs medical care can receive it.
